The FIM Superstock 1000 is a racing series for young riders that takes place during European events of the Superbike World Championship. The technical regulations are geared towards maximum production bike likeness and allow only slight differences from the commercially available road variants. In the 2010 season, Italian Ayrton Badovini wins nine out of ten races on a BMW S 1000 RR from the BMW Motorrad Italia STK team and becomes season champion after the seventh run.
